I've heard a lot of complaints about Wood Elves not getting their special characters updated, and I feel the same way (though I've never used one and my only one is an unassembled, unpainted Orion). Once I've finished all the old army book ones, I might even get to do a few of my own!! Just so you know, I'm unlikely to do the old Champion level characters (Drycha and Scheolon in particular, but I do want to do Wychwythel the Wild and the Beastmasters). All of these characters have been upped in power to fit in with the other army book's "Super Special Characters". Some fluff may also have been changed to better fit in with new fluff and stats (Thalandor in particular because I felt I had to explain more about a fighty-mage than last edition had to). Also, these rules are unofficial and untested, so tell your opponents about your intentions to use them before the battle and get them a copy of the rules. I'd also appreciate it if a few people reviewed them for fairness.
